Dr. Yinying Chen brings about 30 years of professional experience in the energy field. Her expertise includes energy strategy and planning, energy policy analysis, power sector analysis, project-level economics analysis and investment risk assessment. Dr. Chen published more than 40 academic papers – 12 of which were indexed in EI and one was included Top Articles in Outstanding S&T Journals of China (F5000). She led more than 20 research projects at national and provincial levels and published two books. Dr. Chen worked in universities, government agencies, state-owned enterprises and private companies, and had experience in the lifecycle of power projects, including project conception and investment, planning and execution, operation and post-project evaluation. She received her PhD in engineering from North China Electric Power University and completed her postdoctoral studies at Tsinghua University.
