Xiya Zhang focuses on environmental governance, legal advocacy, and NGO development in China. She cultivates and develops project partnership with government agencies, NGOs, lawyers and other stakeholders. She helps build capacity for partners to strengthen environmental public participation, public interest litigation and environmental governance in China. She also manages a series of research projects in environmental protection and related areas. She has a master’s in environmental studies and sustainability science from Lund University, Sweden.
