Inner Mongolia is an essential base of energy and strategic resources in China, and its energy structure has long been dominated by coal. This study focuses on the green transformation and development of Inner Mongolia's coal industry under the Dual Carbon goal. Based on the current situation of Inner Mongolia’s coal industry development, it analyzes the coal consumption demand of Inner Mongolia’s major key coal-consuming sectors, coal export demand, and the scale of Inner Mongolia's coal industry, and it provides policy recommendations to promote the transformation and green development of the coal industry in Inner Mongolia.
