Principles, Experience and Practices of Low Carbon Smart Growth for Chinese Cities

2014-09

The report Principles, Experience and Practices of Low-Carbon Smart Growth for Chinese Cities was co-authored by Tongji University, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China (MoHURD) and Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). Built off of our understanding of the current state of urban development in China, the report provides best practices from low-carbon projects in China. Rather than focusing on the largest and most comprehensive examples, we selected case cities that demonstrate advanced and replicable practices. The report is intended for the reference of policy makers, urban planners, social organizations, and individuals interested in low-carbon urban development.
