The Workshop on Environmental Public Litigation which also released Environmental Public Interest Litigation: Comparison between China and the U.S was held on July, 28th in Jianguo Garden Hotel. The participants with different background got together to share their knowledge and experiences including public officials from environmental legislation, justice and administrative departs, academic experts from colleges and institutions, as well as environmental lawyers and NGOs. They discussed the progress and challenges of how to establish a legal mechanism of environmental public interest litigation in China.
