From September 6-8, 2013, NRDC's Environmental Law Project team jointly held a training course for lawyers of southern Chinese provinces with the All-China Environment Federation (ACEF) and the Shenzhen Lawyers Association (SLA) in Shenzhen, China. The primary goal of the training was to mobilize more legal professionals in environmental litigation and judicial practice, since empowering Chinese lawyers is one of our main approaches in promoting environmental protection in China.
