Demand Side Management (DSM) has recently experienced rapid growth in China. However, there is lack of systemic analysis tools for DSM and barriers still exist in evaluation, incentives and penalty mechanisms for current projects. To provide theoretical and technical support to the development of DSM in China, NRDC commissioned a study on the feasibility of DSM evaluation tools by China Electric Power Research Institute (CEPRI) in June 2014 . After a year of field surveys, development and revision, the project successfully held a review meeting with experts from the National Development and Reform Commission, the State Grid, and Beijing Development and Reform Commission, who provided comments and suggestions on June 12, 2015. CEPRI will further revise the report based on the expert feedback and NRDC will make further work plans according to the report findings.
