On July 31 in Hunchun, a city in Northeast China, NRDC co-organized a one-day National Park Management Training Workshop. International experts from Russia, India, Costa Rica, Canada and Chinese experts provided intensive training to the Park and its 10 sub-bureaus along with forestry management officials on how to manage a national park with tigers and what kinds of policies are required. Experts not only shared case studies from their respective countries, but also engaged in in-depth discussions on concessions, enforcement, and sustainable infrastructure. This is the first training of its kind conducted since the Park was launched in 2017.
