The United States and China are the world’s two largest greenhouse gas emitters. Using its experience promoting energy efficiency and clean energy solutions in both countries, NRDC promotes cooperation between Washington and Beijing on climate and clean energy issues, on initiatives including development of climate legislation, phasing-out of HFCs and promotion of trust and understanding to reach meaningful and effective agreements in international climate negotiations.
