Wei Du’s work focuses on low-carbon transition in China's industrial sector, including energy transition, financial integration and innovative technological solutions, to promote the reduction of coal consumption and foster green and high-quality industry growth. Before joining NRDC, Wei served as a financial expert at CITIC Securities and Jundu Investment, participating in various IPOs, M&As and investment cases. She holds a double Bachelor's degree in Economics and Literature from Peking University, a Master's in Business Administration from Peking University, and a Master's in Finance from the University of Hong Kong.
