Energy efficiency is the cleanest and most cost-effective resource. NRDC has been promoting energy efficiency in China since late 1990s, working closely with central and local government agencies, industries, utilities and academia to implement and scale up national and local programs that invest in end-use energy efficiency. Our objective is to help China reduce its industrial energy footprint and promote sustainable economies by providing technical assistance and implementation support to help China develop innovative energy efficiency policies and pilots and build implementation capacity on the ground.
