This research investigates water consumption associated with the life cycle of coal extraction, transportation, transformation, and use, looks into the process of water intake, usage, and discharge, and takes into account the strictest water resources management system, so as to analyze the entire coal consumption process' influence on water resources, as well as water resources' constraints on coal consumption.
