Authored by the CIB Research，a research and consulting subsidiary of the China Industrial Bank, the report finds that Chinese banks have made progress in climate and environmental information disclosure, but multiple problems and challenges still exist. The report recommends that regulators and financial institutions establish a unified information disclosure framework and related requirements. They are further advised to strengthen climate and environmental risk management from strategic and procedural aspects.
