This report offers a comprehensive overview of existing regulations and policies, and  presents a framework of two crucial systems: the "China Cement Production Carbon Emission Reduction Technology Standard System" and the "Cement Carbon Emission Trading Standard System." The report emphasizes the need for swift action in developing technical and equipment standards in four key areas of carbon emission reduction technology: alternative raw materials utilization, energy efficiency and carbon reduction, low-carbon cement, and carbon capture and utilization. In terms of carbon trading standards, the report advocates for standard development on two core segments: carbon emission trading and the trading of China Certified Emission Reductions (CCER).
