NRDC and the Sichuan Energy Internet Research Institute jointly organized a workshop on "The Development of Virtual Power Plants (VPPs): Contribution of Air Conditioners and Electric Vehicles," at which our long-term partner, the Sichuan Energy Internet Research Institute introduced this report’s findings.  The report reviews case studies of vehicle-grid integration (VGI) practices and regulatory experiences as well as electricity pricing and market mechanisms in pioneering regions. The report also analyzes the challenges in promoting VGI in China and provides corresponding recommendations for the development of VGI in China.
