NRDC jointly launched the Workshop Series on China Wildlife Law and Governance with the 1st event to review the 2020 wildlife law and policy development in China. Participants included officials and expert from China National Forestry and Grassland Administration, Bureau of Fishery, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the Research Institute of Environmental Law, Wu Han University (RIEL). The event was organized by NRDC, China Wildlife Conservation Association (CWCA) and RIEL. Future workshops will be held on a monthly basis and include experts from different backgrounds to discuss and share views on the wildlife law and governance issues in China and to recommend for best policy practices to support China’s wildlife legal and regulatory system development.
