NRDC has been working to provide policy and technical advice to the government on regulations and standards needed to minimize the environmental and health impacts of shale gas development and other unconventional oil and gas development using hydraulic fracturing. We are sharing lessons learned in the United States about shale gas development so that China’s development will be as sustainable as possible.
