In 2016, NRDC launched the “Greening Belt and Road” project, aiming to support Belt and Road green development, to enhance China’s global green leadership, to implement the Paris Agreement, and to promote UN’s 2030 sustainable development goals. NRDC is currently working together with various partners to research and promote BRI green energy development, clean power and energy intensive industries cooperation, environmental protection, climate change, and green financial mechanisms.
